Fun Games for the Whole Family on Road Trips

Want to spice up your next road trip? At American Five Star Auto Repair & Transmission, we want to ensure you have the best time on the road! Take a look at these roadtrip games to keep you occupied before you reach your next adventure.  One of the most important things to have for a road trip is a playlist. Here's a game that involves whatever playlist you may have. So basically this is a game where you play a song and see who can name the tune first. The Difference between Leaded, Unleaded, Diesel, and Bio-Diesel Fuel

The Difference between Leaded, Unleaded, Diesel, and Bio-Diesel Fuel

Purchasing a vehicle is a long and sometimes challenging process, but choosing what gas goes into your car shouldn’t be! Keep in mind the fuel options you have when looking for a new vehicle. Prepare Your Car for Spring

Prepare Your Car for Spring

While it may not get as cold here in the winter as it does in other parts of the country, we still look forward to spring. It’s a time for renewal and a great time to clean out the cobwebs. It’s also a great time to clean your car and give it a good once over. Start with a full car wash, inside and out. You can do it yourself or take it to a car wash. Full detailing is always nice and it can not only put some fresh life into your car, but it can also help extend the life of your paint job. Rotate tires and have them checked out for wear and tear. Check pressure as it tends to change with the changing weather. When they are operating at optimal functioning, you get the best gas mileage too. Even a little off and it can lower your MPG. A good time to change out your windshield wipers. Even though we don’t get a lot of rain, during rain showers isn’t the best time to find out yours are only sloshing things around on your windshield. Have your battery checked ... read more
